The Board of Mau Tea MCS Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Jackson Ronoh as Chief Executive Officer. Jackson will succeed Andrew Langat, who retired from Mau Tea towards the end of year 2020. Mau Tea is immensely grateful to Andrew for the energy, vision, and compassion that he dedicated to Mau Tea as a whole, during his 12 years of exemplary service. During his tenure with the organization, Andrew was instrumental in achieving great changes.
Jackson, is expected to join the Mau Tea Board and take up the CEO post starting October 2021. Jackson is a widely experienced senior executive with a strong commercial, marketing and management track record.
He has been the Deputy CEO of Mau Tea MCS since 2017, and during his tenure has built the business into successful operational organization. Prior to that he was the Factory manager at the same organization. He holds a Bachelor of Science-Food Science Degree from the University of Nairobi.

Sang EBS, Mau Tea’s Chairman, said: “I am pleased to take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Ronoh for this well-deserved appointment and further ask him to work tirelessly towards the achievement of the Society’s Vision. May I also assure him that the Board of directors will accord him the necessary support he needs as he sets out to execute this mandate. The Board is aware and recognizes that you are taking over the management of the Society when we are facing serious financial challenges resulting from poor tea auction prices and the global economic downturn occasioned by the Corona Pandemic. We therefore expect you to double up your efforts to protect the Society from the devastating effects of these challenges. I would also like to thank Andrew Langat for his outstanding contribution to Mau Tea over many years, and particularly for his decisive leadership during the several industry crisis.”
Jackson Ronoh said: ” I am aware of the immense responsibility that comes with this position and I wish to assure you chairman and the Board that I accept the duty and I will measure up to the task, I will work tirelessly within the boundaries of the Society policies and procedures towards delivery of the aspirations of the founders of this great Society. I will work closely with the board to align our various resources towards achievement of Society’s objectives and Vision.
